Fees

The standard fee for a weekly therapy session is $170 per 53-minute session. However, this fee is adjusted down significantly for clients with insurance we are paneled with (listed below). If financial assistance is needed, a discount may be provided for private-pay clients, or for clients with insurance for which we are considered out-of-network providers. Payments are to be made at the end of each session (cash, check, or credit/debit/HSA card). Fees may increase periodically, and thus fees are subject to change with at least 2 weeks prior notification. If you are a beneficiary of a discounted rate, please note that this will be discussed at the beginning of our time together and reassessed periodically.

Our standard fee for Encounter D&D is $65 per 2.5-hour game session. Limited financial assistance may be available should players need a discount.

Insurance

The clinicians at Encounter Psychotherapy are paneled with Premera, Blue Cross Blue Shield (not Regence), Lifewise, and Aetna. We work with these companies as in-network providers. We can also provide superbills for clients who choose to submit out-of-network claims. We encourage you to verify with your insurance company to see if they work with your chosen clinician.

Unfortunately, although Encounter D&D is a therapeutic gaming experience, it is not considered therapy, but is adjacent to therapy. As such, we are not able to accept insurance for these sessions.
